Never mind the cold and the whiteouts; we hit more fast, fluffy powder and got more fresh tracks during our five days in Austria than anywhere else I've gone, Utah included. You could just dodge a little bit off the beaten path - like just uphill of where everyone else skied here - and there was a foot or more of lovely powder, all yours. Magical.
