Four of us (Joel, Kristin, Kristin's boyfriend Greg, and myself) went to Tahoe for a weekend of climbing and enjoying the fabulous views. Well, Greg only came for the views, but he was lots of fun to have along, and he built a good Eagle Scout campfire for us Saturday night. Anyway, we spent Saturday at Indian Springs, just off of Route 80 a bit west of the Donner Pass - yes, that Donner Pass - and Sunday at Ninety Foot Wall, a super-popular area right above Emerald Bay. During the course of the climbing, I reaffirmed my love of slabs and figured out that I'm terrified of falling, even when firmly tied to a rope and belayed by someone I trust. Clearly, I'll have to work on this if I'm going to climb anything more exciting than a staircase. Anyway, this album has some action shots of me and Joel climbing (somehow I don't have any of Kristin - sorry!) as well as general weekend pics and a few beautiful views of Emerald Bay. Enjoy!
